Indian People’s Theatre Association(IPTA) celebrates Kaifi Azmi’s 90th birth anniversary “KAIFI AUR MAIN” saga of a poet “kuch Kaifi Azmi kuch shaukat Kaifi zubani” Written by : Javed Akhtar, Starring: Shabana Azmi & Javed Akhtar on dt. 14th Jan 2012 @ 8 PM at Bhaidas Hall.

Tribute to Satyadev Dubey Ji .......

On Sunday, the theatre community rewarded the tribute to Satyadev Dubey Ji with poems, dance, & plays at Prithvi Theatre.
Such a musical tribute...
Nasruddin Shah, Javed Akhtar, Shyam Benegal, M.S. Sattu, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dinesh Thakur, Sonali Kulkarni, Nadira Babbar, and many eminent theatre/ film artists were present in the program.
I also attended the program. I will never forget this day...

हिंदी मासिक पत्रिका "नवनीत"

आज शाम मुझे, "Bhartiya Vidhya Bhawan" की हिंदी मासिक पत्रिका "नवनीत" के हीरक जयंती समारोह में सम्मलित होने का सुअवसर प्राप्त हुआ।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता सिने जगत के सुप्रसिद्ध गीतकार श्री गुलज़ार साहब जी ने की । इस अवसर पर उन्हीं का लिखित एक नाटक "सुनते हो" का भी मंचन किया गया। आज की शाम एक यादगार शाम रही ।
कार्यक्रम "भारतीय विद्या भवन", चौपाटी, मुंबई में आयोजित किया गया था ।
